  Let me try to restate this to make sure I understand the suggestion: You would like the screen to remain at full brightness for as long as the app is active? Or in other words, you want it to keep the phone awake? Can you clarify which device and platform this is problematic on?
  
  The reason I ask is that different devices may behave a bit differently when it comes to power settings. This is certainly something we're willing to consider, though I do have some concerns.
