Richard Bateman AdminHi,
While we absolutely do this during practice exams, could you clarify your use case for why it would be useful in study mode?

PeterIn study mode, it is best to know the keyword of the question and answer for the match. Sometimes I find that if I know which section the question came from, I'd change the answer based on where it came from. If the actual test does not have the pool question number on it, we need the ability to turn it off and get use to it off. However, in the beginning, if you want to go back to relearn that section, you'd want it on to begin with. So it should be optional.

Richard Bateman AdminWe will consider this request; it's not technically hard to do, but it can be difficult to find room in the UI =]

Bob BurkettCould you add the ability to search by question name within each exam type. This would give the reader the ability to see the discussion after missing the answer to the question

Richard BatemanBob -- is there a reason you can't just review the practice exam where you missed the question? In study mode and also when you review the practice exam both you can see and use the "explain" button to see the explanations.
You can also browse the pool using the "read questions" section. I'm not saying we can't add a faster "go to question" where you type in the question ID, I just have a hard time imagining that it would be used all that often, so trying to understand the use case. -

Peter StarkI would add, that some official tests, they do not include the question number in the booklet. But if you provide the option, I'd either want it under explain, or to display it if I get it wrong.

Richard Bateman AdminMost official exams will not show the question ID when you take the actual exam. Having it in study mode makes some sense, but having it on practice exam mode seems like a bad idea -- best case it helps a tiny amount when studying and you get one of the very rare groups who use tests with the question IDs on them, but worst case is that you use it as a crutch and it's not there so you fail an exam because you paid attention to the question number or letter instead of just the question content.
In study mode I tend to like having it there just so people can get an idea of how far along they are -- but we may look at having it hidden until after answering on the new app, possibly with an option possibly not.
